Product Description

Accuris Taq Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase developed to deliver consistent and reliable results in routine polymerase chain reaction (PCR) applications. Its modified structure improves DNA-binding properties, providing higher solubility and greater affinity for DNA templates.

The enzyme exhibits 5′ to 3′ DNA polymerase activity and 5′ to 3′ nuclease activity, but lacks 3′ to 5′ exonuclease proofreading activity. This makes it suitable for conventional PCR amplification across a broad range of DNA templates, including GC-rich sequences.

The polymerase is supplied with a 5X reaction buffer containing MgCl2 and a proprietary mixture of enhancers. dNTPs are not included and must be added separately to the PCR reaction.
